Statement From Congressman Murphy on Delay of Monthly Social Security Checks in the Northern Part of the 20th District

Today, Congressman Scott Murphy issued the following statement in response to a number of constituent calls to his regional offices regarding the delay of monthly Social Security checks in the northern part of the 20th District.
“Today, my offices have received a number of calls regarding a delay in this month’s Social Security checks to residents in the northern part of my district. We have contacted the Social Security Administration, who has informed us they are working with the United States Postal Service on resolving this issue as soon as possible,” said Rep. Murphy. “In the meantime, for those residents needing immediate assistance, please contact the Social Security Administration’s Queensbury office at 518-812-0182, or any of my regional offices listed below.”
